I work collaboratively with patients by fostering an open and safe space that empowers patients to observe, explore, and adapt to find restorative balance in their lives. I understand that coming to therapy can be a big decision and bring up lots of different emotions, so I will do my best to help you and/or your child feel comfortable. I draw from many therapeutic modalities (see below) enabling me to tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs and work holistically to help them gain insight and encourage growth. Treatment may focus on the present or the past and I will be open with you about what course of treatment I feel will be the best fit.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan before attending Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology for the Combined School-Clinical Child Program where I received my MS and Doctorate.

My training included learning: Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic theories, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), all of which I find incredibly valuable. I enjoy working with people across the lifespan in individual and group settings for both short and long-term treatment.

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings with patients from diverse educational, racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds. My clinical experiences include training at: William Ward Elementary School, Mount Sinai’s World Trade Center Mental Health Program, St. Dominic’s Foster Care, Yeshiva’s Parnes Clinic, Lincoln Medical Center and Madison Park Psychological Services.
